This is a continuing series of ceramic pieces that are hand sculpted and made locally in Brooklyn, NY. Just like the 90s famous chia pet, you can grow chia sprouts with this planter.
Directions: Soak the vase in water for 30 minutes. Mix 2 teaspoons of Chia seeds (5 grams) with 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) of water in a separate container. Wait 5 minutes then stir the seed mixture until you get a thick consistency. Should be thick enough to not slide off the planter.
Remove and empty water out of the planter. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then spread a thin, even layer of seeds to the outside of the clay with your fingers or a spoon. DO NOT water for two days to allow the seeds to take root. Top off the water the planter and dump the catch dish everyday and the sprouts should grow in 3-4 days. Make sure they have access to sunlight!
